Description

Hi,

Firstly this is an excellent product that you have
created. It is so useful that I cant live without this
nowdays.

Back to Freature Request: I know that LDAP Interface is
already completed. What would be cool is to browse the
LDAP directory and automatically add people from
directory to users list. Basically you'll have all the
people listed with tick box of people for selection and
then a button to add all the selected people to the
user list. I hope its clear to understand.

It could be an idea to have a look at Alfresco which does user and group
synchronisation (it's in java and gpl licenced).

I too agree this would be handy.
I would just add a comment about large directories :

An interface with just a list of people to browse vertically would very soon be difficult to use. Moreover, the risk is that you hit the ldap server's result size limit is also high.

Ideally for large directory's I've found the best way is to work purely with drop downs of the AD / LDAP groups rather than users themselves
