user calendar and summary [1276817]

If it were possible to see the calendar from the User's
perspective, to see what resources they are using, and
a summary of how many hours the user is scheduled at a
given resource (on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis),
it would be very useful to me.

I work as an IT support person at a university Library.
The Librarian's need something to assist with desk
scheduling, to make sure the desk is covered and that
no one person is working too many or too few hours (and
to provide the supervisor with this information). The
summary for an individual user would be very useful.
